What is the situation with VAT and prices?

VAT (Value Added Tax) is already included in all prices displayed on this website. There is no additional VAT added on the checkout page.

Do you deliver to outside of the UK?

Currently we only deliver products to the United Kingdom. Unfortunately we are no longer able to deliver products to the Republic of Ireland.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payments via PayPal. You can pay with your credit/debit card if you do not have a PayPal account.

How do you calculate delivery prices?

As stated on the page on Delivery Info we have a number of different postage classes and choose the one which will be the cheapest to send your products to you. Small items are sent via Royal Mail first class postage, whereas larger items are sent by courier. Royal Mail will not handle items larger than 1.5 metres in length, meaning that these types of items (i.e. fishing rods) will always be sent by a courier.

Can I back order a product if it is out of stock?

At the minute we do not have a way of registering back orders on the site. However, if you email us at contact@seaanglingshop.co.uk about an out of stock product we will email you immediately and inform you that the product is back in stock.

Is there a minimum order level?

There is no minimum level for orders – we are happy process and send low value orders and single items.

I want to add 7 items to my cart, but the site won’t let me put more than 5 in. Why?

Due to stock levels we limit how many items can be bought at any one time. For example fishing rods are sold individually and other items such as swivels and hooks may be limited to a certain amount per order as that is all we have in stock.

Why do I need to give a postcode when I place an order?

Many of the courier companies we use rely on postcodes to deliver products and we therefore need postcodes when we take orders.

Can my billing address be different to my shipping/delivery address?

Yes. We do allow orders to be placed with different billing address and shipping addresses. However, if a high value order is placed we may contact you by phone or email to confirm the order before it is sent out.

How often do you add new products to your shop?

We are constantly sourcing new products to add to our shop and new lines and products are added most months. This page is updated whenever new products are added to our site.

Do you have a physical premises? Can I come and visit Sea Angling Shop and have a look around at the stock?

We are based in Darlington in North East England. However, as we are an online only business our premises is only used for administration and deliveries/returns and we are unable to accept guests or customers at our premises.
